finding the balance
Are you an actor, dancer, performer or creative struggling to balance your passion with the demands of running a successful business? Perhaps you struggle to know what to charge, how to shape your offerings or which direction to go in. You’re not alone. Many talented individuals in our industry face the challenge of navigating a creative career while trying to put bread on the table. If you feel overwhelmed by the hustle, unsure of your worth, and uncertain about where to put your focus, we are here to support.
In this 90-minute online interactive workshop we will explore how to find the balance between creativity and commerciality; how to embrace your identity as both a creative and a business professional and how to stay sane while you’re doing it.
Confidence
Using a group facilitation and coaching approach, this workshop is ‘built as we go’. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in supporting founders, entrepreneurs and creatives Elizabeth will share both the best of what she knows from her time in business and take your questions and worries to help you find answers and strategies you can use to move forwards with more confidence and clarity.
So what are the sort of things we could cover?
Anything is on the table, bring with you what is most live for you in your work right now and we will workshop it out, if you’re not sure where to start we can kick off with a couple of common challenges:
Common Challenges:
Finding a balance between commercial success and creative fulfilment can feel daunting. We can help you reconnect with or craft a new vision for your business that places your artistry front and centre, enabling you to pursue the work you love while also attracting the opportunities that make it sustainable. This includes getting real clarity on what's most important, who you serve, the value you add and the essence of what makes you unique.
Many creatives struggle to price themselves appropriately and often undervalue their skills. We can explore together a process to help you price yourself well, one that serves you, your audience and the wider industry, without feeling like an imposter.
We understand that your artistry is at the heart of what you do, and our goal is to help you untangle from the overwhelm, get re-inspired and re-energised and find a way to move forwards with both passion and purpose. This is not your usual death-by-powerpoint seminar but rather an opportunity for solidarity, practical support and highly tailored expertise. We can't wait to have you join us.
