Rosalind Parker is a movement director, performer, and physical theatre educator with over 20 years of professional experience. Her training includes Rose Bruford (3-yr Acting BA Hons) and further development with Frantic Assembly and Gecko Theatre. She is passionate about teaching contact improvisation, shamanic techniques for actors and ensemble work.

Rosalind’s work spans theatre, film and motion capture. Alongside traditional acting work, she has collaborated with NFTS and Millennium FX, specialising in creature embodiment. Her movement direction has earned critical acclaim for productions including The Duchess of Malfi at The King’s Head Theatre, The Three Musketeers and The Importance of Being Earnest for Spontaneous Productions.

Rosalind is the founder and artistic director of Outburst Theatre, through which she produced and directed educational and community-based projects, including Catford, 1968, a large-scale intergenerational production commissioned with Heritage Lottery funding. She is also the founder, director and lead artist of The Bedlam Bunch, a physical theatre company creating interactive performances for young audiences that blend clowning, puppetry, and movement.
